M42 #19 Big Size

M42 #19 - Shell: The shell is an original WWII 1942 Model in size 68. This shell was already restored including liner, chin strap and decal. It is nicely painted in grey-green with a textured outer. Visible factory stamps are ET68 with a lot number of 2202. A later pattern acceptance stamp has been applied in the dome. Liner: The liner is a nice replacement M1931 helmet liner, size 68/61 with a galvanized steel outer band. The pigskin leather is ink marked as size 61 (61cm head size) with a correct draw string. This liner is a high-quality import, sourced from the Czech Republic, identical to originals and the best on the market. Chinstrap: The leather chin strap is a nice replacement with steel hardware and is marked Wilhelm Ellers Jr. Bielefeld 1942. Restored Depiction: This helmet is a SD Army and comes fitted with a ‘Marsh’ pattern helmet cover.
