M40 #40 - Shell: The shell is in first class condition and is painted in grey-green with a textured outer. The maker/size stamp is ET64 with a lot number stamp of 752. An acceptance has been applied to the inner dome. Liner: The liner is a superb replacement M1931 helmet liner, with a zinc outer band and pig skin leather. The leather is ink marked as size 57 (57cm head size). This liner is of the highest quality; imported from the Czech Republic; identical to originals and the best on the market. Chinstrap: The leather chin strap is a superb replacement; it is marked C.KORN ALZEY 1943. Restored Depiction: This helmet is a DD police type. An M43 Overprint camo cover has been fitted.
