Italian #13 Brigate Nere

Italian #13 Brigate Nere - Shell: Original Italian Model 1933 steel shell; post-war. When acquired it was painted in a matt olive-drab which looked like the original factory paint. The shell was factory stamped at the rear of the shell M55 and on the liner frame M58. The shell is in excellent condition, it was stripped to bare metal, primed then painted in dark grey-green. Liner:  The helmet retains its original brown leather liner which is a little stiff and shows Service use. The liner is a 58cm head size. Chinstrap: The blue-grey leather chinstrap is a fine replica imported from Italy. Restored Depiction: This grey-green helmet is stencilled as a Brigate Nere (Black Brigade) example.
